Axios co-founder Jim VandeHei is coining a new term to portray his vision of the future for journalism. His view of “Super Journalists” foresees human journalists that can deliver more authentic insights than AI, drawn from the nuances of human-to-human contact built over several years.
He suggests news consumers will benefit from a mix of super intelligence and super journalists, together providing “higher quality human expertise on their favorite topics and quicker, better summaries of daily news or happenings via AI.”
