Neiman Lab summarizes the latest report from Reuter’s Institute for the Study of Journalism (RISJ), anticipating the year ahead for newsrooms. Of several emerging concepts, they highlght “liquid content” as journalism that evolves in context as it is custimozed to individual users and their needs.

The RISJ authors suggest this will mean a “move away from authoring ‘articles’ towards more flexible atomic objects.”

Neiman also points to findings that publishing are increasing their emphasis on working with AI models and YouTube, with decreasing attention to Facebook and X (formerly Twitter).
