The New York Times “Trust team” is asking its reporters to add more information to their bios to further differentiate their reporting from generative AI, according to Vanity Fair. The “enhanced bios” are meant to create more trust from readers.
Vanity Fair says the NYT journalists are, amongst other suggested items, encouraged to say how they apply the paper’s ethics in their writing, for example, regarding personal stock ownership or offered gifts.
