Chinese state media’s latest news anchor is a female AI | QUARTZ

QUARTZ reports the Xinhua News Agency will deploy the world’s first female AI news anchor. This comes three months after the China state broadcaster announced their first AI news anchors in November 2018. They were male. At least one is modelled after a prominent TV personality in China.
