A Netflix senior executive says one of their productions was able to achieve a special effects scene 10 times faster using a generative AI model. The Guardian quotes Ted Sarandos, Netflix co-CEO, saying AI can help producers make their shows “better, not just cheaper.”
The scenes were in El Eternauta (The Eternaut), an Argentinian sci-fi series.
