OpenAI’s largest-to-date acquisition focuses on new consumer products to be developed with ex-Apple design guru Sir Johnny Ive. The Times reports the purchase of Ive’s startup will lead to porducts to be revealed “next year,”and focused on “hardware that helps people better interact with the technology.”
