Government and tech leaders will gather to create safety guidelines for next-stage AI, meeting where early computing helped end World War Two. The U.K. government will convene the global meeting at Bletchley Park, between Oxford and Cambridge, in November.
Bletchley Park is where Alan Turing and a group of elite computer scientists secretly used first-generation mainframe computers to decrypt codes used by enemy forces in the War.
The FT reports items on the draft agenda include:
- Ethical considerations for AI systems
- Misinformation
- Cybersecurity
