News publishers are discussing compensation from generative AI providers, reports Semaphor. They say publishers talking “with at least one of the companies” include News Corp., The New York Times, The Guardian, and Axel Springer. The AI-driven product companies named are Google, OpenAI, Microsoft, and Adobe.
