Axel Springer chief Matthia Doephner is forming a mergers and acquisitions group to acquire companies specializing in AI tools, reports Reuters. They say Doepfner told employees, “If somebody wants to kill journalism, OK, let us understand how and why, and let us journalists do it ourselves.”
