China tech giant Baidu has developed business-grade translation for real-time use on personal devices. Silicon Angle reports the service is intended for situations where human translation is unavailable.
Translations are presented in both audio and text.
Silicon Angle says the speed of translation — sufficient to make it flow more naturally — comes from machine learning anticipating the next words in any exchange.
