Trust highest in Sweden and Germany, lowest in Hungary and U.K. | 9 country study

Researchers at Cambridge University teamed with YouGov to understand attitudes about trust in media. The study was conducted in summer 2018 and included favoured media sources and attitudes to government.

Journalistic trust levels in Sweden and Germany were each at 44%, the highest in the 9-countries studied. The U.K. showed 18%. Hungary was the lowest at 14%.

The research was conducted in Italy, Portugal, Poland, France, United States, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, and Great Britain.
