Researchers at Cambridge University teamed with YouGov to understand attitudes about trust in media. The study was conducted in the summer of 2018 and included favoured media sources and attitudes toward the government.
Journalistic trust levels in Sweden and Germany were 44%, the highest in the 9-countries studied. The U.K. showed 18%. Hungary was the lowest at 14%.
The research was conducted in Italy, Portugal, Poland, France, the United States, Sweden, Germany, Hungary, and Great Britain.
