The Guardian uses the word “delve” to show the impact large language models (LLMs) are having on English usage. They say the word is commonly used in Nigeria, where many AI trainers live, and now appears more often online.
They point to a research study showing “delve” was found in the prominent research site PubMed with at least a 10x greater frequency than before LLMs were widely available.
