Thinking Machine Labs is the latest frontier model company to be headed by a former OpenAI executive. Ex-CTO Mira Murati’s new company joins Anthropic and Safe Superintelligence (Ilya Sutskever) as a potential competitor to their former home at OpenAI.
TechCrunch notes Murati’s venture shows several of it’s employees are veterns of AI companies, including OpenAI and Google DeepMind, among others.
