The Financial Times is the latest high-profile news organization to work out a content deal with OpenAI, the creator of the ChatGPT series of generative AI models. The California AI pioneer previously announced content deals with Associated Press, Axel-Springer, LeMonde, and Prisa Media, in Spain.
In contrast, The New York Times is suing OpenAI over copyright infringement.
