G20 ministers agree on guiding principles for using artificial intelligence | JAPAN TIMES

Ministers from the G20 nations have agreed on principles for AI that ‘respect the principles of law, human rights and democratic values.’

The G20 group includes Russia and China, which were not signatories to an earlier set of OECD principles.

The OECD document was adopted in May, 2019, by its 36 countries plus six. The OECD principles are the foundation for the G20 agreement.
